Most custom cases are a flat sticker under plastic. Ours are printed on an industrial UV flatbed: a full-color pass lays down your image, then a clear varnish pass builds it up, edge to edge. Scales feel like scales. Leather feels like leather.

Raised varnish does something to a painting. Every brush stroke and every pour line stands up off the surface, so you can trace the artist's hand with your thumb.
The display art on our in-store stands is by Pennsylvania artist Seth Hannah. Ready-to-print artist designs are coming to the designer, so you can start from a finished piece instead of a blank case.

Which phones do you support?
Current Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel models, with more added regularly. You'll see the full list when you pick your phone in the designer.
Can I order without a card?
Not yet. Every order starts with a Case Studio card from a participating store; the code on it is what unlocks checkout. You can open the designer and play without one.
What's the case itself like?
A slim, matte shell cut for your exact model with a built-in magnetic alignment ring. Your design is UV-cured onto it, not stuck on, so it won't peel.
How long does it take?
Each case is printed to order after a person reviews your design. You can check progress anytime with Track my order.
What if my photo is low resolution?
The designer warns you as you scale a photo past what will print sharp. If something slips through, we'll reach out before printing.
